2 most popular ways of getting traffic to your site are:

➡️ Organic traffic (from SEO)
➡️ Paid Traffic (from PPC)

The question is, are they ‘the best way’ of getting traffic?

I doubt that.

What if I told you, there was a better way of getting 10k traffic to your site for FREE?

And only a few people are talking about it.

The answer is Reddit.

It’s called the front page of the internet and till date, the best way to get fast traffic (in my opinion)

In this post, I’ll show you how you can easily drive 10k traffic/month to your site from Reddit in 4 easy steps.

But before that, let’s do some calculation

The Calculation

Google Ads PPC for SaaS varies from $2-$7, highly competitive terms can reach $10+.

If you’re bootstrapping, that’s a lot of money

Alternatively, if you want to rank organically for those keywords, it’s at least 6 months of article writing and SEO work.

Now, the method we’re going to discuss is both time-saving and free. Isn’t that amazing?

Let’s jump right into it:

Step 1: Find the Right Subreddit Relevant for your Business

After joining Reddit, the next step is to find the perfect Subreddit for your product.

Look for Subreddits related to your industry (e.g., r/SaaS, r/Startups).

For example, I help SaaS founders get customers through inbound content marketing.

For me, r/SaaS is the most appropriate Subreddit with over 95k members.

If only 10% of these members read and engage with my post as active users, that still amounts to 10k relevant individuals.

Step 2: Read the Weather

Every day, 830,000 posts are uploaded on Reddit.

To make your post stand out, it’s important to stay away from any irrelevant promotional content.

Instead, spend some time getting to know the subreddit’s atmosphere.

Go through top posts, analyze discussions, and identify what kind of content people like the most.

You need to understand your target audience’s pain points, plus the tonality that’s accepted in the community.

Step 3: Make Content that Adds Value

Craft free valuable content that addresses those pain points

This will make you relevant on the first go.

And within the post, portray your SaaS as the most logical solution for those pain/s.

People from Reddit don’t like other people desperately promoting their product/service.

You need to be careful.

Please don’t make it look like that you’re only posting to promote yourself.

Instead, maintain a helpful attitude throughout the post.

Step 4: Don’t Post and Disappear

To maximize the potential of your Reddit posts, it is important to engage thoughtfully with people who comment.

Use this opportunity to build relationships and potentially convert them into loyal customers.

Actively participate in discussions and spark meaningful conversations.

One Last Thing: Once you post on Reddit and find few people showing interest, the best route would be to invite them to DM and try to understand if your tool would be able to help them.

Wrapping Up

Following this exact same method, I was able to get 9.9k views on my post. Again, if only 10% of those check my out after that post, I can get 1k traffic without spending any $$$.

My post didn’t have any CTA to drive people to my site, but your post should.

If you post 10 times in a month(obviously talking about different aspects of your ICP’s problems), getting 10k traffic is no big deal.

You can get 10 times more traffic if your posts hit the right spot.

And the best part?

These visitors are already interested in your product and are warm leads. They’ll buy from you if they believe you can deliver what you promise.

That’s it for today. See you next week.
